NLC India completes 300 MW Barsingsar solar project

NLC India Limited has informed the stock exchanges that the third and final phase of its 300 MW solar power project at Barsingsar in Rajasthan has been commissioned and declared commercially operational. This phase, with a capacity of 141.17 MW, became operational on 24 January 2026.
The company stated that a part commissioning certificate for this phase was received from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) on the same date.
The earlier phases of the project were commissioned in stages. The first phase, with a capacity of 52.83 MW, was declared commercially operational on 26 August 2025. The second phase, with a capacity of 106 MW, achieved commercial operation on 02 November 2025.
Following the full commissioning of the Barsingsar project, NLC India Limited’s total installed renewable energy capacity has increased to 1,766 MW.
