Waaree Renewable secures 25 MWac solar EPC contract

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has secured an order for a 25 MWac/35 MWp ground-mounted solar power project, involving engineering, procurement, and construction on a turnkey basis.
The company informed the stock exchanges on 14 January 2026 under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 (SEBI LODR Regulations).
The project has been awarded by a domestic entity described as one of the largest manufacturers of pig iron, castings, and seamless tubes. In addition to the solar plant, the scope includes the development of evacuation infrastructure with a capacity of 50 MW. Waaree Renewable stated that the aggregate order size is 25 MWac/35 MWp.
According to the disclosure, the project is scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2026–27, in line with the terms of the order.
The estimated value of the contract is approximately Rs 102.75 crore, excluding taxes. The company confirmed that the order does not involve a related party transaction and that no promoter, promoter group, or group company has any interest in the awarding entity.
