MTAR Technologies wins Rs 3.10 billion Kaiga nuclear equipment order

MTAR Technologies Limited has secured an order valued at Rs 3.10 billion from Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEL) for the supply of equipment for the Kaiga nuclear power project units 5 and 6.
The contract covers the manufacture and supply of critical equipment for the two civil nuclear reactor units. Deliveries will be executed in a staggered manner and are scheduled to continue until February 2030. With this order, MTAR Technologies’ cumulative order inflows for the Kaiga units 5 and 6 during the current month have risen to Rs 5.04 billion.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director Mr Parvat Srinivas Reddy said the company expects sustained growth in its nuclear power business, supported by a strong order pipeline and a favourable industry environment. He noted that nuclear power projects typically have long execution timelines, providing multi year revenue visibility.
MTAR Technologies operates in high precision engineering and supplies components to sectors including civil nuclear power, clean energy, space, and defence. The nuclear power segment has emerged as a key growth area for the company.
