Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has announced new wind turbine orders totalling 229 MW. The company has received a 160 MW order from a leading independent power producer (IPP), including a firm order of 112 MW with an option to extend by another 48 MW.

The project will use Inox Wind’s 3.3 MW turbine generators and includes limited-scope EPC services and multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) support.

Inox Wind has also secured a repeat order of 69 MW from another major renewable energy company for a project in Maharashtra. The order follows a 153 MW contract awarded in March 2025 by the same customer, a subsidiary of a global clean energy firm.

Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO – Renewables, INOXGFL Group, said the new and repeat orders reflect customer confidence in Inox Wind’s technology, execution capability, and long-term service commitment.

Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind, added that the company’s 3 MW turbine platform continues to gain traction in the market and that additional orders are in advanced stages of negotiation. The company aims to close FY26 with an order book covering execution plans for the next 18–24 months.
