Enphase Energy has introduced an AI-powered DIY permitting feature on Solargraf, its cloud-based platform designed for U.S. solar installers.
This tool automates the complex solar and battery permitting process, potentially reducing time for permit plans by up to 95%. The feature aims to streamline solar installation, lowering administrative burdens and operational costs for installers.
As part of Enphase’s efforts to enhance Solargraf, this DIY feature integrates design, proposal, and permitting processes into one platform. Over 300 permit plans have already been generated across more than 50 authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), confirming the tool’s efficiency in aiding solar installers.
Enphase, a provider of microinverter-based solar and battery systems, has shipped approximately 78 million microinverters and installed over 4.5 million systems across more than 160 countries.
