Senvion India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Integrum Energy for the supply and commissioning of up to 50 units of its 4.2M160 wind turbine model, representing a total potential capacity of 210 MW. The projects will be spread across Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka.
The agreement covers supply, supervision, and commissioning services. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of FY27, followed by phased installation and commissioning. The partnership strengthens both companies’ presence in India’s growing wind energy market.
The 4.2M160 turbine, part of Senvion India’s modular 4XM platform, is designed and built in India with more than 85% local content. Featuring a 160-metre rotor and advanced control systems, the turbine aims to deliver higher annual energy output and lower lifecycle costs across varied wind conditions.
Amit Kansal, CEO and Managing Director of Senvion India, said the MoU with Integrum marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth. He highlighted the 4.2M160 as an “engineered-in-India” product built on modularity, localisation, and scalability to drive India’s clean energy transition.
Anand Lahoti, Founder and Managing Director of Integrum Energy Infrastructure Limited, said the collaboration aligns with Integrum’s goal of developing next-generation renewable assets built on innovation and self-reliance. He added that the partnership will enhance Integrum’s hybrid and standalone wind portfolio across five states while supporting reliable, clean power delivery to commercial and industrial consumers.
