NTPC Limited and NTPC Green Energy Limited have declared new solar capacities operational in Rajasthan and Gujarat, respectively.
NTPC has commissioned 167 megawatts (MW) out of 245 MW at Plot-1 of its Nokh Solar PV Project (3×245 MW) in Rajasthan, effective 26 September 2025, 00:00 hours. The project is implemented under the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III. Following this addition, NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity rises to 60,705 MW on a standalone basis and 83,863 MW on a group basis.
Separately, NTPC Green Energy Limited declared 25 MW from its 37.5 MW solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat, commercially operational from 27 September 2025. The project is managed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, wholly owned by the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited. This will increase the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group’s commercial capacity from 7,382.475 MW to 7,407.475 MW.
