NTPC Green reports commercial operation of 100 MW IRPL capacity

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced that 100 MW (Lot-6) of capacity from IRCON Renewable Power Limited’s (IRPL) 500 MW project has been declared under commercial operation, effective 17 September 2025.
With this addition, IRPL has reached 400 MW of cumulative commissioned capacity. IRPL is a joint venture in which Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited holds a 24 per cent stake. Ayana is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, which is itself a 50 per cent joint venture of NGEL.
Following this commissioning, the total commercial capacity of the NGEL Group has increased to 7,272.575 MW, while its installed capacity has risen to 7,372.575 MW.
