BHEL receives 2,600 crore order for 800 MW Anuppur thermal project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has accepted a Letter of Intent from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited to supply equipment for the 1×800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project.
The supply package includes the boiler, turbine, generator, and related auxiliaries, along with control and instrumentation systems. According to BHEL, the boiler will be manufactured at its Trichy plant, while the turbine generator will come from its Haridwar facility.
The contract value is estimated at about Rs 2,600 crore. The supply is scheduled to be completed in 58 months. The project will use supercritical technology and is to be carried out under a domestic contract.
BHEL clarified that the order does not involve related party transactions and that its promoters or affiliated companies do not hold any interest in MB Power. Â
