Adani Wind, the wind energy manufacturing arm of Adani New Industries Limited, has received a 165 MW order from Fourth Partner Energy Limited (FPEL) for wind turbine supply. The turbines will be deployed across projects in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
The order includes 50 wind turbine generators from Adani’s 3.3 MW platform. Each turbine will feature a 164-meter rotor diameter and a 140-meter hub height. The scope of supply covers nacelles, hubs, drivetrains, blade sets, and towers, along with supervision for foundation work, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance.
Adani Wind has outlined plans to supply up to 1.25 GW of turbine capacity to external customers by March 2026.
In addition to the domestic market, Adani Wind has begun international operations with its first export of turbine blades to Germany. The company is also evaluating opportunities in Australia, Brazil, the Philippines, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian markets.
