Power Mech secures Rs 370 crore order from Adani Power

Power Mech Projects Limited has received an order worth Rs 370.84 crore from Mahan Energen Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Power Limited.
The contract covers civil works and the erection of prefabricated structural steel for units 1 and 2 of the Mahan Phase-III power project at Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
The scope of work includes the execution of civil works and erection of structural steel for the main powerhouse, central control building, electrostatic precipitator, flue gas desulphurisation and limestone handling systems, switchyard, and related ancillary facilities.
The order is valued at Rs 370.84 crore, excluding GST and BOCW cess. The project is to be completed within 30 months from the issuance of the notice to proceed.
Power Mech confirmed that the award is from a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions.
Last month, Power Mech announced two new operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts worth a total of Rs 551.35 crores for thermal power projects in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
