NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has declared commercial operation of a 49.125 MW capacity at the Khavda solar energy project in Bhuj, Gujarat, from August 22, 2025.
The project is part of the 300 MW solar capacity being developed under the 450 MW Hybrid Tranche V scheme. Earlier, 142.2 MW was commissioned on June 28, 2025, followed by 32.8 MW on June 30, 2025.
NTPC Renewable Energy Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
