Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited, a key player in the electrical contracting and equipment industry, has been awarded contracts worth Rs 2.841 billion under the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana (MUJY). The contracts involve electrifying un-electrified and partially electrified habitations and households in Sahibganj District, Jharkhand.
The contracts are divided into two parts:
- Contract Part I: Valued at Rs 2.292 billion, this contract covers the loading, transportation, installation, and commissioning of electrification infrastructure in rural habitations with fewer than and more than 10 households, as well as urban areas, ensuring reliable electricity supply.
- Contract Part II: Worth Rs 0.549 billion, this contract involves a wide range of activities, including site surveys, planning, design, engineering, assembly, manufacturing, testing, and the supply of necessary materials.
These projects aim to improve electrification in both rural and urban areas of Sahibganj District, aligning with the objectives of the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana to enhance living standards through better infrastructure.
