Rajesh Power Limited has received a turnkey contract worth Rs 2.20 billion from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL). The order involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV medium voltage covered conductor infrastructure.
The work will be carried out across multiple locations in Gujarat under two state schemes, the Kisan Suryoday Yojana and the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana. Both programmes aim to improve power supply in rural and tribal areas.
The project will strengthen rural networks by replacing bare conductors with insulated, covered conductors. This is expected to reduce technical losses and enhance supply reliability, particularly for agricultural and tribal consumers.
Last month, Rajesh Power secured another order worth Rs 597.9 million from GIFT Power Company Limited. That project involves developing distribution and backup power systems in GIFT City, Gandhinagar.
