Adani Green commissions 50 MW solar project in Khavda

Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commissioned 50 MW of solar capacity in Khavda, Gujarat. The project is part of the larger 600 MW solar development awarded under the ISTS-VIII tranche.
This capacity falls under the 600 MW interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar power project awarded to SBE Renewables Fifteen Private Limited in February 2020. The winning tariff was Rs 2.5 per kWh.
SBE Renewables Fifteen is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SB Energy Private Limited, which was later acquired by AGEL.
The 600 MW capacity was part of a larger tender issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
