Om Infra wins Rs 1,998.4 mn contract for Dibang hydropower project

Om Infra Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 1,998.4 million for hydro-mechanical works in the Dibang Multi Purpose Project. The award was finalised on June 25, 2025, following bids invited by NHPC Limited in April 2024.

The contract has two parts. The first, worth Rs 1,678.6 million, is for the ex-works and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) supply of equipment, materials, mandatory spares, and tools. Om Infra will be responsible for clearly identifying the ex-works and CIF components in this segment.

The second part, valued at Rs 319.8 million, covers services such as inland transportation, delivery, unloading, storage, handling, installation, testing, and commissioning of all supplied equipment. This includes performance testing and other services as detailed in the contract.

The Dibang project involves the development of a 2,880 MW hydropower station on the river Dibang in the Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. It will feature 12 units of 240 MW each.
