MAHAPREIT and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance energy efficiency across Maharashtra. The partnership aligns with the state’s Vision 2030 goals, which include doubling energy efficiency by the end of the decade.

The Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) will serve as the technical partner. The collaboration will develop data-driven, scalable solutions focused on three key areas: municipal buildings, water pumping systems, and a steam-as-a-service model tailored for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

MAHAPREIT is a subsidiary of the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation and plays a key role in inclusive renewable energy development. SEforALL is an international organisation hosted by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
