Amazon India has announced a partnership with electric mobility company Gentari to expand its use of electric vehicles (EVs) for last-mile deliveries. The collaboration aims to deploy 10,000 EVs by 2025, furthering Amazon’s commitment to sustainable logistics.

Under this partnership, Gentari Green Mobility will supply and manage the EVs over the next three years. They will also provide fleet management services to Amazon’s Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of the electric fleet. This initiative will offer DSPs increased access to electric three-wheelers for their delivery operations.

Amazon India had already deployed over 7,200 EVs by the end of 2023 and is on track to meet its 10,000 EV target by 2025.
