Orient Green approves contract for 7 MW solar in Tamil Nadu

The Board of Directors of Orient Green Power Company Limited has approved an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Remon Solutions Private Limited.
The contract covers 7 MW/9.8 MWp capacity under the first phase of its solar project in Tiruttani taluk, Thiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. The approval was granted on June 10, 2025.
This capacity is part of a larger 25 MW/35 MWp project being developed under Phase-I by Orient Green’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta Renewable Energy Private Limited (DELTA).
In total, DELTA is developing 44.8 MW/64 MWp of solar capacity in two phases — 25 MW/35 MWp under Phase-I and 19.8 MW/29 MWp under Phase-II.
