Kosol Energie secures Rs 5.57 billion contract for solar module supply in Gujarat

Kosol Energie Private Limited has won a contract from NLC India Limited to supply 393.9 MWp bifacial solar modules for the 600 MW Khavda Solar PV Project-Phase XX (GUVNL) in Gujarat. The firm bid Rs 5.57 billion for the project.
NLC invited bids for the project in August 2024.
The scope includes manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, and transportation of 393.9 MWp Mono Crystalline/Topcon Silicon bifacial solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, with a minimum wattage of 540 Wp, to Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) Solar Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The modules are scheduled for delivery by June 2025.
The 600 MW grid-connected solar PV power plants are being developed under GUVNL Phase XX Solar Power Projects on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis at Khavda Solar Park (GSECL Stage 2) in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
GUVNL will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders.
