Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen (UKA), a German developer of wind and solar parks, has ordered 80 turbines from Nordex Group, totalling a capacity of 540 MW for various wind energy projects across Germany.
The turbines, mainly from the Delta4000 series, will be supplied for 15 UKA projects in six German states.
The bulk of the order includes 64 N175/6.X turbines, along with 13 N163/6.X and three N149/5.X turbines.
One of the most significant projects is the Herzberg-Granzin wind farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which will feature nine N175/6.X turbines and three N149/5.X turbines for a total capacity of 78 MW.
Nordex will also provide two decades of service under a premium service agreement after the wind farms are operational in 2026. The N175/6.X turbines will be installed on 179-meter concrete hybrid towers, developed in-house by Nordex.
This order extends a framework agreement between UKA and Nordex, first renewed in November 2023.
