ACME Solar secures Rs 24.91 billion refinancing for 490 MW projects

ACME Solar Holdings has secured a long-term refinancing facility of Rs 24.91 billion for its operational renewable energy portfolio totaling 490 MW across Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab. Global coal power additions fall to 20-year low

Global coal power additions in 2024 dropped to their lowest level in two decades, according to a new report by US-based think tank Global Energy Monitor (GEM). Despite the slowdown, the overall coal fleet still grew, driven mainly by new capacity in China and India.
