GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind division has secured an order to supply 14 4.2 MW-117m turbines for the Iwaya and Shitsukari wind farms in Aomori, Japan. Constellation to acquire Calpine for $16.4bn

Constellation has announced its acquisition of Calpine in a cash and stock transaction valued at $16.4bn, including 50 million Constellation shares, $4.5bn in cash, and the assumption of $12.7bn in net debt.  The deal brings the total net purchase price to $26.6bn after factoring in expected cash generated by Calpine and tax attributes. PPC Renewables orders 100 MW of wind turbines for Greek projects

PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of PPC Group, has ordered 19 Nordex N149/5.X turbines, totalling 100 MW of capacity, for three wind farms in Greece.
