Refex Renewables subsidiary partners with LC Infra for solar project

Sherisha Rooftop Solar SPV Four Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited, has partnered with LC Infra Projects Private Limited to form LC Infra Solar LLP. The LLP will develop a 150 MW solar power project awarded by Maharashtra State Power Generation Limited. LC Infra Solar LLP has been established with a capital contribution of Rs 10,000, with SPV Four holding a 26% stake.

Jindal Saw to acquire 31.2% stake in ReNew Green MHH One

Jindal Saw Limited has signed a share purchase agreement (SPA) to acquire a 31.20% equity stake in ReNew Green MHH One Private Limited (RGMHH), making RGMHH an associate company. RGMHH focuses on renewable energy generation but has not yet commenced operations. The acquisition aims to secure electricity at concessional rates and is expected to be completed by May 2025.

Adani Transmission and DigiSmart Networks bid for Goa’s smart metering

Adani Transmission Limited (ATL) and DigiSmart Networks Private Limited have submitted bids to serve as the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) for smart prepaid metering in Goa.  The project, under the Goa Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), will follow a design, build, finance, own, operate, and transfer (DBFOOT) model. The Department of Power (DoP), Goa invited bids for the Rs 3,961.18 million project in January 2024.

Mercados Energy wins consultancy contract for APDCL power procurement

Mercados Energy Markets India Private Limited has secured a Rs 2.8 million contract to provide consultancy and regulatory support services to Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for the procurement of 500 MW long-term hydro power. APDCL invited bids for the consultancy in October 2024. The project will be executed through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
