THDC begins draft tube erection for Vishnugad Pipalkoti hydro project

THDC India Limited has initiated draft tube erection work in Unit 2 of the Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (HEP).  The project, with a total capacity of 444 MW, is situated on the Alaknanda River near Helong village in Uttarakhand. It is expected to be commissioned by December 2026.

Madhya Pradesh secures coal allocation for 4,100 MW thermal power plants
