Carbon Minus Energy Private Limited has secured contracts worth Rs 39.6 billion from Maharashtra State Power Generation Corporation (MSPGCL) and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for developing 904 MW of decentralized solar power projects across the state. THDC synchronises Unit 1 of Tehri PSP in Uttarakhand

THDC India Limited synchronised Unit I of the Tehri Pumped Storage Plant Project with the National Grid on November 19, 2024.  Furthermore, the coal firing was also achieved within a few hours of oil synchronisation. THDC, a joint venture (JV) of NTPC Limited and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP), is implementing the project. Transmission and transformation capacity additions exceed targets in FY25

The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) reports that transmission and transformation capacity additions in the first seven months (April-October) of FY25 have surpassed planned targets. This marks the first instance of exceeding the target in FY25. A total of 4,337 circuit kilometres (ckm) of transmission lines were added, 10% higher than the planned 4,762 ckm.
