WattPower has signed a strategic agreement with Solarium Green Energy Limited to expand solar deployment in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The collaboration focuses on supporting the central government’s Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM) scheme by advancing decentralised solar electrification in rural areas.

Under the agreement, Solarium has been named WattPower’s Value Added Partner. WattPower will supply modular, high-efficiency solar solutions, while Solarium will oversee regional implementation and last-mile connectivity. The partnership targets increased solar adoption among farmers and small enterprises, aiming to strengthen distributed renewable infrastructure in underserved regions.

WattPower’s systems are designed for remote areas, with features such as grid compatibility, high uptime, and long-term reliability. These align with the KUSUM scheme’s goal of promoting solar-powered irrigation and clean energy in agriculture.

Commenting on the partnership, Divya Prakash Choraria, CEO and Co-Founder of WattPower, said the collaboration marks a formal expansion of a long-standing association.

Ankit Garg, Founder and CEO of Solarium Green Energy, said WattPower became the preferred partner during project execution due to the reliability of its technology. He added that the collaboration will help accelerate solar adoption in high-potential rural markets.
