On June 11, 2025, Waaree Energies Limited signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL). The agreement covers 150 MW capacity under the 170 MW (Unit-III) Neemuch Solar Power Park Project in Madhya Pradesh.

The contract follows Waaree Forever Energies Limited’s successful bid in December 2024. The company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, won the tender by quoting a tariff of Rs 2.15 per kWh. RUMSL had invited bids for the Unit-III project in April 2024.

RUMSL, a joint venture between the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL), is developing three large-scale solar parks in the state. These are located in Agar, Shajapur, and Neemuch districts, with a total planned capacity of 1,500 MW.
