Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has informed the stock exchanges of a revision to the capacity and value of a previously announced solar project. The disclosure was made through a regulatory filing dated 8 January 2026. The revision relates to a project award first disclosed on 9 September 2025.
The company stated that it has received a Letter of Award for a revised project capacity of 704 MWac and 1,000 MWp. This is lower than the earlier disclosed capacity of 870 MWac and 1,218 MWp. Waaree Renewable clarified that all other terms of the Work Order remain unchanged. This includes the scope of work, conditions, and pricing structure. The project is scheduled to be completed within the financial year 2026 to 2027.
The order has been awarded by Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, referred to as WFEPL, which is a subsidiary of the company’s holding group. The transaction has been classified as a related party transaction.
