Waaree Energies winds up dormant Australian subsidiary
Waaree Energies Limited has announced the deregistration of its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Renewable Energies Australia PTY Limited, by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission with effect from June 10, 2026.
The company received formal intimation of the deregistration through email on June 24, 2026. Following the deregistration, the Australian entity has ceased to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies.
Dormant entity
According to the company, Waaree Renewable Energies Australia PTY Limited was a dormant company and did not contribute any revenue, income or net worth during FY 2025-26.
No consideration was received as part of the deregistration process. The company also stated that the development does not involve any related party transaction, scheme of arrangement or slump sale.
