Vikran Engineering wins contract for 100 MW solar project

Vikran Engineering Ltd (VEL) has secured a Rs 3.54 billion turnkey EPC contract from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne for a 100 MW AC (120 MW DC) solar power project in Maharashtra.
The contract covers complete design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning on a lump-sum turnkey basis.
Chairman and Managing Director Rakesh Markhedkar said the order highlights VEL’s growing capacity to deliver large renewable projects and supports its plan to expand in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure.
