Vikran Engineering wins contract for 100 MW solar project

Vikran Engineering Ltd (VEL) has secured a Rs 3.54 billion turnkey EPC contract from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne for a 100 MW AC (120 MW DC) solar power project in Maharashtra.Â
The contract covers complete design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning on a lump-sum turnkey basis. Â
Chairman and Managing Director Rakesh Markhedkar said the order highlights VEL’s growing capacity to deliver large renewable projects and supports its plan to expand in clean energy and sustainable infrastructure. Â
