Transrail Lighting secures Rs 837 crore T&D orders

Transrail Lighting Limited has announced new orders worth Rs 837 crore, comprising a domestic transmission line EPC contract and an international product supply order. 

Randeep Narang, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said the strong intake reflects the company’s execution strength and expanding customer base. He noted that the domestic order was awarded by a major business group, while the international contract was secured on the basis of Transrail’s large-scale manufacturing capabilities.

With these wins, the company’s cumulative order inflows for FY26 have reached over Rs 3,157 crore, representing a 57 per cent year-on-year increase.

Transrail Lighting has reported a sharp rise in financial and operational performance in the first quarter of FY26, supported by strong order inflows and project execution.

For Q1 FY26, the company recorded revenue of Rs 1,660 crore, an 81 per cent increase year-on-year. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs 106 crore, while EBITDA rose 66 per cent to Rs 200 crore. Order intake during the quarter grew 72 per cent to Rs 1,748 crore, driven mainly by domestic T&D contracts.

The unexecuted order book stood at Rs 14,654 crore as of 30 June 2025, up 44 per cent from the previous year. Including L1 positions, the backlog reached Rs 15,637 crore.
