Tractebel Engineering Private Limited has secured a Rs 37.5 million contract to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for Konkan LNG Limited’s (KLL) 30 MW gas engine generator (GEG) based captive power plant in Maharashtra.

KLL invited bids for the PMC contract in October 2024. The power plant will be developed within KLL’s premises to meet its current and future power demand, which is projected to rise to 27 MW. The configuration will include 3 units of 10 MW each, operating at 11 kV and 50 Hz.

Tractebel’s scope includes basic engineering and front-end engineering design (FEED), defining civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and fire protection requirements. The firm will prepare specifications, vendor lists, and drawings needed to float a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for the main engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) or lump sum turnkey (LSTK) contract.
