Tractebel Engineering Private Limited has secured contracts in six packages for independent engineering (IE) services in six transmission projects. 

The contracts, awarded through bids invited by Central Transmission Utility India Limited (CTUIL) in December 2024, amount to a total of Rs 59.6 million.

The awarded contract amounts are as follows –

  • Rs 9.7 million for the Transmission system strengthening for interconnections of Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III complex.
  • Rs 6.03 million for the Provision of Dynamic Reactive Compensation at Khavda Pooling Station 1 (KPS1) and Khavda Pooling Station 3 (KPS3).
  • Rs 9.11 million for the Eastern Region Expansion Scheme (ERES) – XXXIV.
  • Rs 12.92 million for the Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ PhIV (Part 3: 6 GW) (Bikaner Complex): Part B.
  • Rs 12.92 million for the Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ PhIV (Part 3: 6 GW) (Bikaner Complex): Part A.
  • Rs 8.92 million for the North Eastern Region Generation Scheme-I (NERGS-I).

Meanwhile, PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) invited bids for appointment of technical consultant for survey and preparation of report for the “Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from RE Projects in Morena SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase I (2500MW)” and the “Inter-regional (NR-WR) Transmission System strengthening to relieve the loading of 765 kV Vindhyachal-Varanasi D/c line in Uttar Pradesh” on March 3, 2025. The last date for bid submissions is March 10, 2025.
