Three firms have submitted bids to construct two pooling substations (PSS) under Phase I of the 2,000 MW solar park. The bidders are Amara Raja Infra Private Limited, Kalpataru Projects International Limited, and Techno Electric and Engineering Company Limited (TEECL). Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN) invited bids for the project in December 2024.
The project scope includes constructing the electrical and transmission system for a 3×250 MVA, 33/400 kV pooling substation at PSS-I in Tehsil Pugal, Bikaner, with a 400 kV, 1×125 MVAR shunt reactor (bus type). It also involves a similar 3×250 MVA, 33/400 kV pooling substation at PSS-II in Tehsil Pugal, Bikaner, under Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam’s (RVUN) deposit work for Phase-I. The contract covers the supply of all equipment and materials, erection (including civil works), testing, and commissioning on a turnkey basis.
Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN) invited bids for the project in December 2024. The work is expected to entail an investment of Rs 3,938.1 million.
