UPNEDA revises capacity for distributed solar projects
The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has amended the capacity for grid-connected distributed solar power projects under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model from 3,205 MW to 2,553.5 MW. In July 2024, UPNEDA issued Request for Selection (RfS) bids to select Solar Power Generators (SPGs) for setting up 3,205 MW of grid-connected solar projects.
