PFCCL forms SPV for Mundra transmission system

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has incorporated Mundra I Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), for developing the transmission system to supply power to Green Hydrogen and Ammonia manufacturing facilities in the Mundra area of Gujarat (3 GW) under Phase-I Part B1. This was announced on December 27, 2024. PFCCL has been designated as the bid process coordinator (BPC) to select a transmission service provider (TSP) through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.

ERC approves NGCP transmission projects in Philippines

The Philippines Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has approved two transmission projects by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), the private operator of the country’s transmission network. Torrent Power reports reduced T&D losses in major licensed areas

Torrent Power has reported a reduction in transmission and distribution (T&D) losses across most of its licensed and franchised distribution areas for the first half (April to September) of FY25.  In the Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar licensed area, T&D losses dropped from 6.30% in H1 FY24 to 4.50% in H1 FY25.
