Waaree Group starts electrolyser plant construction in Gujarat, expands solar cell capacity

Waaree Group has started the construction of its alkaline electrolyser manufacturing facility in Valsad, Gujarat, with an initial production capacity of 300 MW.  The plant will support industries like steel, refining, transportation, fertilizers, chemicals, food, and power generation in their transition to decarbonised processes.  The factory will produce high-efficiency, durable electrolysers for large-scale green hydrogen production, featuring low power consumption and flexible operations, along with automated assembly lines for electrolyser stacks. FREYR Battery to acquire Trina Solar’s US manufacturing assets

FREYR Battery has signed an agreement to acquire Trina Solar’s 5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas.  The acquisition is expected to be finalised by the end of 2024.
