Alcazar Energy acquires rights for 968MW of renewable projects in Serbia

Sustainable infrastructure fund Alcazar Energy Partners has signed agreements with RP Global to acquire rights for 968MW of renewable energy projects in Serbia. The deal includes Project Celzijus 1, a 200MW onshore wind farm, and a pipeline of 768MW in wind and solar projects. Masdar and Taaleri Energia achieve financial close for Čibuk 2 wind farm in Serbia

Masdar, in partnership with Taaleri Energia, has reached financial close for the 132 MW Čibuk 2 wind farm in Serbia, securing a €144 million debt facility from UniCredit and Erste (Erste Group and Erste Bank Serbia). The wind farm will power 62,000 households and offset 311,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
