Oriana Power secures 75 MW solar project from MSEDCL

Oriana Power Limited has won an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to develop a 75 MW solar power plant in Maharashtra. The project falls under Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme, focusing on feeder-level solarisation and includes land and transmission line development. Additionally, Oriana Power recently secured a 128 MW solar project from Dalmia Cement in Tamil Nadu, valued at Rs 5.2 billion, further expanding its renewable energy portfolio.

European green electricity PPA prices fall 12.4% in Q3 2024, LevelTen reports

NTPC announces winners of 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar auction; allocates 976 MW

NTPC has released the results of its 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar projects auction. The winning companies include SAEL Industries, Rays Power Infra, Refex Green, ReNew Solar, and Illuminate Hybren (Mahindra Susten).  SAEL secured 300 MW, Rays Power 100 MW, and Refex Green 100 MW, all at a tariff of Rs 2.50 per kWh. BSPGCL issues tender for solar project in Patna

Bihar State Power Generation Company (BSPGCL) has issued a tender for procuring solar power from grid-connected solar PV projects ranging from 2 MW to 20 MW in Patna.  The project, designed as a ground-mounted installation with a raised structure over ponds, will be constructed under the RESCO mode for a total capacity of 20 MW.
