NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids for the 50 MW Andaman & Nicobar Gas Power Project. Bids can be submitted until January 27, 2025. The project, based on gas engine power, will be implemented in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands with a targeted completion timeline of 840 days.

The projects, valued at Rs 2.91 billion, will be developed across multiple Indian states. NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has released a tender for the installation of 7.2 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across 26 Assam Rifles buildings in Nagaland, Manipur, and Assam. The bid submission deadline is December 2, 2024. The project scope covers design, engineering, supply, civil construction, erection, testing, commissioning, and the inclusion of a solar module cleaning system, remote monitoring, and ten years of operation and maintenance.

Infra Engineering have emerged as winners in NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam’s (NVVN) auction to develop 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support.
