NTPC Limited (NTPC) has declared commercial operation of an additional 5 MW at the Maroda Reservoir-I Solar Power Project in Bhilai. The project is being implemented by NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a joint venture of NTPC and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). NTPC to set up green hydrogen mobility project in Bhubaneswar

NTPC Limited has signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Grid Corporation of Odisha (GRIDCO) and Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) to promote green hydrogen mobility in Bhubaneswar. Under the agreement, NTPC will establish a green hydrogen fuelling station and deploy hydrogen-powered buses for short- and long-distance routes, replacing fossil fuel-powered buses to support decarbonisation and energy security.
