Goa government rules out nuclear power plans, focuses on renewables
Goa Power Minister Ramakrishna Dhavalikar has told the legislative assembly that the state government has no plans to set up a nuclear power facility. “There is no proposal to establish a nuclear power plant. Hence, consultations with stakeholders or environmental assessments are not applicable,” Dhavalikar stated.
