GETCO invites bids for GEC-II transmission and transformer projects

Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) has invited bids for multiple transmission infrastructure projects under the Gujarat Green Energy Corridor (GEC)-II scheme. These include a 765 kV double-circuit (D/C) transmission line and transformer procurement in two separate packages. Voltamp Transformers secures Rs 2,633.3 million contract from GETCO

Voltamp Transformers Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) valued at Rs 2,633.3 million from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for the design, manufacturing, testing, and supply of various ratings of power transformers.  The project, awarded on November 5, 2024, is expected to be completed within 12 months.

GUVNL issues tender for 200 MW BESS in Gujarat

The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) has announced a tender to develop a 200 MW/1600 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Gujarat.  The developer selection will occur through a tariff-based competitive bidding process (Phase-V).  The BESS will have a daily capacity of 1600 MWh.
