Coal Ministry awards Marwatola-II and Namchik West blocks in latest auction

The Ministry of Coal has signed agreements for two coal blocks under the 11th round of commercial coal mine auctions. Marwatola-II has been awarded to Singhal Business Private Limited. Coal Ministry launches 12th tranche of commercial coal mine auctions

The Ministry of Coal has launched the 12th tranche of commercial coal mine auctions, offering 28 coal and lignite blocks for bidding.  The auction includes 25 coal mines under the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 (CMSP) and 18 under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (MMDR), along with two lignite mines. Coal Ministry signs agreements for three coal blocks

The Ministry of Coal has executed agreements for three fully explored coal blocks, increasing the total number auctioned to 104 since the commencement of commercial coal mining.
