Suzlon wins 378 MW wind project order from NTPC in Karnataka

Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL) has secured a contract from NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, for a 378 MW wind power project in the Gadag region of Karnataka.
The order, awarded on April 23, 2025, includes the supply, erection, and commissioning of 120 S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The turbines will be installed with Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers.
In addition to delivering and installing the turbines, Suzlon will also handle comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services after the project is commissioned.
This contract follows closely on Suzlon’s recent order from Sunsure Energy for 48 wind turbines in Maharashtra, underscoring the company’s expanding project portfolio.
