Sterlite Power wins contract of Rs 682.5 million from PGCIL

Sterlite Power Transmission Limited has secured a contract worth Rs 682.5 million from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for reconductoring Package OH01.
The package includes the reconductoring of the 220 kV Hisar (PG) to Hisar (IA) single circuit line and the 400 kV Raichur to Veltoor (Mahabubnagar) line with high-tension low-sag (HTLS) conductors.
This project involves reconductoring the transmission line and upgrading the 400 kV bays at Raichur and Mahabubnagar to fully utilize the line’s enhanced capacity.
