Sterlite Power has introduced two distinct corporate identities, Resonia and Sterlite, as part of a rebranding effort announced at ELECRAMA 2025.

Resonia Ltd will focus on transmission infrastructure, expanding networks and integrating renewable energy. Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd, now branded as Sterlite, will manage the manufacturing of power conductors, cables, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services.

Sterlite Power began this transition in October 2024 by carving out its transmission development business into a separate entity, Sterlite Grid5 Ltd. In January 2025, Sterlite Grid5 Ltd partnered with GIC of Singapore to form a joint venture, Sterlite Grid32 Ltd, dedicated to power transmission in India. By February 2025, Sterlite Grid32 Ltd was rebranded as Resonia Ltd, marking the completion of this corporate transformation.

Resonia Ltd operates a portfolio of 20 power transmission projects across Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Haryana, Maharashtra, Goa, and Kerala. These projects span 11,495 ckm of transmission lines.

In the latest event, Resonia Ltd has been shortlisted as a technically qualified bidder for the Transmission System for Integration of Kurnool-IV Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) – Phase-I (4.5 GW) through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
