Sterling and Wilson emerges L1 bidder for solar project in Gujarat

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a turn-key engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract of 245 MW (AC) solar capacity in Gujarat.
The company said its gross order inflows, including L1 positions, have crossed Rs 2,000 crore in 2025. SWREL added that domestic demand remains strong and that EPC activity is expected to expand further.
SWREL’s portfolio stands at over 22.8 GWp of projects commissioned or under development. The company also manages 9.3 GWp of solar projects under operations and maintenance, including projects built by other developers.
