Skipper Ltd received new orders worth Rs 13.18 billion in Q3 FY25 (October to December), bringing the total order inflows for the fiscal year to Rs 37.43 billion. The company secured significant contracts from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL), state electricity boards, and private transmission service providers.

As of December 31, 2024, Skipper’s outstanding order book stood at Rs 63.54 billion, with 89% of the orders from domestic clients and 11% from exports.

From a segment perspective, 66% of the order book relates to domestic power transmission and distribution (T&D) activities, while 23% is from non-power T&D sectors, including telecom, railways, solar power, water EPC, and steel structures. Skipper Ltd continues to focus on enhancing India’s power infrastructure.

Skipper Ltd has announced its plans to enter the substation EPC business to diversify its offerings in the power transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. Sharan Bansal, Director at Skipper Ltd, highlighted that the company aims to expand its EPC capabilities beyond transmission lines to include substations, which offer strong margin potential and demand. Bansal further noted that Skipper Ltd is well positioned to secure its first major substation EPC order, a milestone for the company.
